Presenting JR Alli Camera Gear

JRAli has been doing some amazing short films and awesome videos, he’s actually a drone lover being able to pilot these very well, and if you take a look at his videos you immediately realize that he’s basically just shooting with his camera and flying his drone to make those awesome videos that he has on his YouTube channel.

He was born on July 23 in 1998 he is from Canada and he is associated with another famous Canadian YouTuber named Christian Collin, let’s jump into it!

SONY A7S II

Without any doubt this is Sony’s best camera so far, it’s actually really fast and sure, it shoots perfectly at night and also its practically lightweight compared to others, there are people that actually say that they can appreciate more details shooting at night.

It’s better than the almost identical (but definitely not the same) Sony A7R II because this A7S II works faster and costs less, also it has more than enough pixels while the A7R II actually has some pixel issues. 

Also, there’s a lot of upgrades in the silence mode, which we particularly think it’s awesome. It’s incredible how this thing works and ideal for those of us who like to shoot without being noticed. 

GOOD:

• Excellent electronic finder; big, bright, sharp, and wonderful.
• Solid metal construction
• Impressive Silent Mode.
• Even in regular modes the shutter only moves at the ends of exposures.
• Excellent High ISO Performance
• Facial recognition works well
• In-finder 3-axis level works great for keeping horizon and vertical lines as they should be.
• Comes with two batteries.
• Any lens of any brand can be adapted in some way to work.
• Stereo microphone built-in 

BAD:

• Lenses on adapters rarely work well
• The silent mode won’t work with flash 
• Battery life is poor, a few hundred shots, but it comes with two batteries.
• The menu system is famous for being the worst in the whole industry.
• The LCD isn’t bright enough to see in direct sunlight (a Canon DSLR is actually much better)
• Only runs 5 FPS, not great for sports or action, get the Canon 7D Mk II which runs twice as fast for half the price.
• Unlike a DSLR, it will always need some time to wake up and be able to shoot.

MISSING:

• No second card slot.
• No built-in flash
• No way to back up the complete camera state as Nikons can do.
• No auto-brightness control for the LCD 
• The super-useful crop button of the Sony A99 is gone.
• No GPS.
• No shutter dial / No aperture rings
• No diagonal scroll on playback. 
• No ISO dial.

JR Alli Mavic Drone 

The DJI Mavic Pro is known as a tiny yet impressive quadcopter the only issue is that it contains a small camera unit but that doesn’t represent a problem for most of us, The manufacturers put a lot of technology inside this little drone to make it more comfortable to all of us, it delivers a really comfy flying experience and it also offers 4K stable recording.

PROS OF THE DJI MAVIC DRONE:

• It offers a 12Mp resolution level for stills whereas 4K footage is rated to occupy highly crystal clear details during flight shooting.
• It offers decent flight time.
• There are loads of advanced flight features.

CONS OF THE DJI MAVIC DRONE

• Still suffer little distortion in low light conditions.
• The sensors are very close to the ground level.

• It offers 40 Mph top rated speed for flights.
• Equipped with advanced vision positioning, GLONASS, and a GPS system.
• Front collision detection. 
• DJI Mavic has the ability to capture videos at a 4k resolution level whereas images can be obtained with a 12MP sensor.
• It can stay in the air for 27 minutes whereas maximum range coverage is 4.3 miles only
• You’re gonna love to explore its automatic landing and take off functions.

Battery life: It’s a little drone but its battery capacity is awesome for its size, with a total of 24 minutes of time in the air its aerodynamic design allows you to spend around 27 minutes in the air, then it would need around an hour to fully charge.

Collision Avoidance: This drone already possesses a hard to hit design, but its also designed with the advanced collision avoidance feature that will automatically come into action whenever you start moving it into small areas around other objects.

JR Alli Microphone

It’s actually impressive how this mic is light, when we first grab it we thought something was missing, this 85g microphone it’s extremely light and comfortable, with the 9V battery that power the mic this item has a total weight of 120, which is still not too much heavy for a mic of its size.

With the controls on the rear of the mic you have and easy access to them, providing a really comfortable user experience.

Pros

Cons

• The new mount is less tolerant of extreme movement than the original mount 

Traditional Shotguns can provide you a really good experience too but when we talk about relatively close work the Rode Videomic Pro its definitely the best option because of its weight and many other features.

If we talk about the new improvements there are a lot of new things that came to make everything better like the reduction of its size that clearly makes it more efficient to pack and portable.
